Springfield U.K. offers camping that's about getting back to nature - with campfires, lots of space, a Bar, a purpose built stage close to the bar playing great music and sometimes even a karaoke! The site caters to TENTS only, and if you'd like to try something new, we have some great outdoor activities with archery, quadbikes and axe throwing.

Due to the Coronvirus, whereas we have always been a friendly 'family run' campsite, we've had to change our model for 2020. This is to ensure the safety of our guests. Its now an adult only campsite.

The campsite is situated within a mature plot of land, with a large beautifully kept field thats surrounded by trees.

From the owner: "I have personally always believed that camping should feel special... back to nature... and to achieve this, a campsite must have certain ingredients to make it perfect, namely:"

- Camp fires being allowed. This allows you to not only toast your marsh mallows, but, you can socialise with friends and family or just stare at the stars
- Lots of space so you're not on top of each other,
- When groups book - they stay as a group,
- Friendly campsite staff who will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible…
- Feeling the outdoors is great, but... having nice facilities is better.

Due to risk assessments and method statements showing it was safer to continue as an adults only site, we have built a stage close to the bar area. Here, there's always background music being played, and in addition providing enough people want it, we may have a DJ or Karaoke for your entertainment.

Sadly, due to the Coronavirus, we have had to remove our shower facilities, however, we have a dedicated person whose sole role is to keep the toilets cleaned throughout the day by bleaching them continuously.

IMPORTANT (please read carefully)- NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS ARE TO BE BROUGHT ONSITE due to Springfield UK holding a premises license. Only alcohol purchased from Springfield Bar may be consumed on site.No exceptions. Bar closing time is 12am.

If alcohol is brought onsite we will have no alternative but to refuse entry as we will not jeopardise our license. If you are found to be ignoring this rule which has been placed on us by the council, you may be asked to leave. On a plus side... its a fully stocked bar, cheap prices and COLD drinks from the bar are so much nicer..
