Offering a traditional farm holiday with modern facilities, Captain Bluebells Farm is only 2.5 miles from the beach.

A family campsite in a peaceful setting. We have a quiet policy after 10:30 that is enforced. Situated between Skegness and Mablethorpe we are close enough for visits but far enough to relax in the countryside on your return.

The site welcomes campervans, motorhomes and tourers on a selection of touring pitches. There are also grass pitches for tents as well as solo backpackers.

Reviews of Captain Bluebells Farm

Great campsite for our little family. Love the animals onsite. Will be back. Thanks Jon.

Fabulous. Such a peaceful site with great friendly owners. It was refreshing to not have to wear earplugs to drown out other peoples noise. Like minded people that just want to have some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Animals all have individual personalities and are fascinating to watch for hours. Hard to choose my favourites but I do have a particular soft spot for Zeus and Dorothy the pigmy goats. Jon and Sara have found a niche market and uphold the values of the site- so you get amazing showers, decent nights sleep and a warm welcoming atmosphere.

This could be a lovely campsite but unfortunately is spoilt by the amount of rules you have to adhere to. There is a strict 9pm curfew, which is fine if you have very small children who would be in bed by that time and you just want to sit in your pitch quietly. The owners policed the site vigorously making sure there was no talking or music being played on a low volume ( a ban on music being another rule). The silent disco of campsites.
