Situated on a traditional working hill farm at the Southern end of the beautiful English Lake District. Fantastic views, peaceful, relaxing, campfires allowed. Sit and listen to the breeze in the trees, the water in the streams and the bleating of the sheep whilst gazing into the dancing flames of your campfire. This is also a great area for walking and cycling with paths leading away directly from the farm. Coniston old man and Black Combe being two popular localhill walks and the more challenging scar fell pike but a 40 min drive away. For the children we are situated only a 20 min drive away from the very popular South Lakes Zoo. We are a short 15 min drive from Coniston Lake and also 15 min from the popular beaches of Haverigg and Silecroft. Pony trekking can be arranged locally. A footpath to the historic Village of Broughton in Furness leads from the farm having tourist info, children's play park, cafes, shops, and pubs and a restaurant. In a nutshell we are a small family run, quiet site suitable for couples and families. Be welcomed by hens, sheep, cows and ponies, pitch up, sit back and enjoy.
Choose from grass or hardstanding pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes or go glam in a selection of cabins, miniature yurts and a bunkhouse.
