Trevella Park takes bronze award at Cornwall Tourism Awards

Trevella Park, which features in the Premier Parks 2015 collection, has been bestowed a bronze award in this year's Cornwall Tourism's Holiday Park of the Year awards.

Offering a five-star camping experience, the park beat a record number of entries to receive the bronze award. Judges praised the site for its new facilities, such as "outstanding" fishing lakes which are "excellent for father and son days". Visitors can also enjoy pleasant walks to the beach, thanks to its location on the ever-popular north Cornwall coast, reports outandaboutlive.co.uk.

Malcolm Bell, head of Visit Cornwall, commented: "To reach the finals in the Cornwall Tourism Awards is a worthy achievement and signifies success in a rigorous judging process which saw the businesses scored, mystery shopped and debated by a panel of industry professionals."

Trevella Park is no stranger to receiving recognition, as it's been given the gold David Bellamy Conservation Award for 16 years running. Kieran Lynch, general manager of the park, credited his team to its success and said they're committed to providing "outstanding" customer service every year.

Naturally, Trevella Park wasn't the only park to pick something up, as the Trevornick Holiday Park in Cubert was awarded gold in the camping and caravan section, reports westernmorningnews.co.uk. Attraction-wise, Newquay Sea Safaris & Fishing was named the top wildlife and marine attraction, whilst the best tearoom prize went to Boscastle Farmshop.
