The site is adjacent to the new George Albert Hotel with its excellent facilities and restaurants offering catering to suit all occasions, from snacks to Sunday Carvery or A La Carte Dining. Alternatively why not try the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the café bar at the Southern Counties Lodge which together with excellent sporting and leisure facilities is located right next door.

There is the Kart Circuit which hosts both British and National championships, together with the CPSA Premier Plus Shooting Ground, home to National and International championships. Whether you want to participate or support your favourite competitors there is something for everyone.
Directions and Information

Turn left as you leave the park and the County town of Dorchester is just a short drive away, with its traditional shopping centre and excellent museums and places of interest to visit, steeped in history it was home to Thomas Hardy, William Barnes and the notorious Judge Jeffries to mention but a few. Turn right and head across the Somerset border to Yeovil which is only 30 minutes away with a traditional shopping centre, Octagon theatre, railway centre and so much more. There really is a wonderful area right on your doorstep ready to explore. Venture a little further and there is yet more to see, explore the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Bridport with its rope making history and ever popular Saturday and Farmers Markets, Lyme Regis for the Cobb, the renown annual Jazz Festival, or Charmouth for fossil hunting. Perhaps go to Weymouth and see or fish the Chesil beach, soon to be home to the Olympic sailing, or to Blandford for the world famous Steam Fair. These and more could all be just a stones throw from your new holiday home at Clay Pigeon Caravan Park.
