Biggest bonus was, we forgot our playing cards so the staff let us use a pack to return the next morning.

The area is amazing full of lots of walks with the added bonus of wild ponies. Our sausage dog had a brilliant time going on lots of beautiful walks. And making friends with the free range chickens. Definitely recommend Langston.

Food is also takeaway so you don’t need to sit in and eat, which is great on sunny evenings and you can have a drink at the bar while you wait.

I have a Tesla and the onsite hookup proved invaluable in keeping the car and fridge running. The hookup is 20A, the Tesla is 16A so there's plenty of headroom for other appliances.

The site is modern and clean, everything is easy to use, showers are warm and powerful, hand and hair dryer is provided. Men have three toilet cubicles and three showers (one with a toilet) along with four urinals and three sinks.

The kitchen area has hot water and several sinks, again modern, clean and easy to use. Tavistock is close by and there are plenty of shops Lidl, Morrisons and Tesco are practically next to each other on Plymouth Road and a Co-Op with parking is on Parkwood Road in the town.

My first day was very heavy rain and there was no pooling of water anywhere on the site (as an ex-farm boy, that was good to see) the only issue I had were the tractors running in the fields until around 02:30 - quite noisy and looked a bit like Close Encounters of the Third Kind! The second night I was so tired I slept through it. I spent most of my week walking Tors, an easy one is right next to the campsite, Pew Tor, a nice brisk half hour walk to the top from the site. Lots of beautiful places to see around Tavistock and Dartmoor.

If you bring an electric vehicle, make sure to bring a 16A "commando" connector (or a "commando" to 13A socket converter) the price of the electrical hookup is good value (unlike another chap who whined about only having a few lamps) there are a few charging points in the strangest of places, e.g. Postbridge - so don't fear the range, you'll be golden visiting this site and connecting up - for Tesla users on the way to Tavistock, go to the Lifton Supercharger on the way, it's very fast and convenient and not far out of your way.

Location is great for exploring Dartmoor with pew tor just a short walk away.

Ideal location to explore the moors and local villages. Mega pods were so cosy and warm and full of everything we needed. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the lady in the restaurant was awesome, so warm and friendly. Best crème brûlée I have ever had. I was also struck by the recycling facilities, even down to food waste which is absolutely fantastic. See you next year More

  REALLY recommend Langstone Manor Holiday Park as somewhere to stay with dogs. You can park next to your accommodation, the dogs are welcome all over the site, including the restaurant... read more and bar (but they also offer the entire menu as takeaway), lots of scenic walks walking distance from the site and the staff were very friendly and welcoming plus they had some lovely local ciders in reception and patisserie service in the morning.
The facilities were clean and modern, I loved that there was a clear option to recycle waste on site. Everything was just perfect.
And if anyone is wondering like I was if there was room for a double blow up bed in the large standard pods - plenty of room!
We will definitely be back.

There is Flora & Fauna a plenty, & dotted around the site you can read interesting facts about the plants & wild animals located in the area.
The facilities are spotless, again a huge plus point for this site, & whilst the shower blocks, Laundry & Dish Washing rooms are basic, they are perfect for your stay.
The site also boasts an onsite Bar & Restaurant, which offers home-cooked food to eat in or take away back to your Pod, Tent or Mobile Home.
If you are a lover of walking, this is the place to be! Dartmoor is an amazing 'stomping' ground and the location of this site, offers you the chance to walk for miles & miles, taking in the epic scenery. More

The pod could accomodate comfortably 4 people and had kitchen sink,microwave,kettle, toilet with sink, 1 double bed and one double... read more sofa bed,TV and heating.
Loads of space for luggage under the bed or under the sink cupboard.
Very clean and private as the pod was surrounded by privacy fencing and driveway with a little private garden and bbq patio.

Enjoied all city commodities while camping.

I loved that the campsite was close to a lot of breath taking landscapes and hiking opportunities.We would problembly need another week or two to be able to visit all that is to see around the campsite.

The staff was very friendly imformative and accomodating.

Children play area, restaurant and even WIFI available on request.
The site is really nice designed with flowers bushes and trees and pods and lodges with their own private garden laid with lawn and patio area as while you are there it feels like you are in a little village.

Only advise would be to inform bookers that the bbq can be used foar coal only and cannot be used as fire pit.

Will definetly visit again and recommend the site.

The site is situated within walking distance of the Tors with magnificent views. Most definitely stay here again.

  We spent a week here during Covid pandemic in our motorhome. The site is over a mile off the main road along narrow roads but traffic is minimal and other... read more drivers are courteous. The site has pretty level grass and a few hard standing bays of god size. There are great views over the Devon countryside. Within 5 minutes walking you can be on Dartmoor and within 25min on top of Pewter Tor with fantastic views again.
The washing facilities were restricted to pod users so cannot comment on them. The surrounding area is very hilly so electric bikes are necessary unless you are a keen, strong cyclist.
We will return.

We have never been disappointed and have only stayed elsewhere when there has been no suitable availability.
Our long weekend visit on this occasion was for a family wedding and our party consisted of three family couples and our granddaughter aged ten months. Honeysuckle Cottage and the site itself were, as always, clean and tidy ( despite the relentless Dartmoor weather!). The beds were comfortable and the facilities spotlessly clean. Our granddaughter is crawling so it was great to have lovely clean floor for her to move about on. The cottage was very warm and cosy. The restaurant is so convenient, being on site, and a menu and bar to suit all tastes. The holiday park is about a ten minute stroll to the open moor and a short drive to Tavistock- although you can also walk down the lane and across moorland to Tavistock if desired. More

  We have stayed in a pod for three trips now 2018,2019 and 2023 was the latest with our two little girls 2.5yr and 7m. We have always had a welcoming... read more stay and highly recommend as it’s in a lovely area and the facilities are always so well maintained. We don’t camp often at all but have stayed in tents as a couple before but having children this is a great option as the pods are heated, close to but not too close to the communal facilities. Love that we can drive up to the pod, use our cooking stuff or choose to eat in the restaurant/bar. You can get drinks from the shop to take back to your pod and it feels very safe. Easy to walk to Tavistock and then bus to Plymouth for a day trip or to elsewhere. We will be back later in the year!
