Those without a camper van can experience the same sort of comfort from their car, thanks to a Swiss company's innovative new fold up kit.
The Swiss Room Box is modelled on a Swiss army knife and folds up to the size of a suitcase, reports dailymail.co.uk. The basic kit comes with a double bed, table, chairs and camping stove, all of which conveniently fits in a car and, according to the company, can be easily assembled in five minutes without tools.
A spokesperson said to metro.co.uk: "Thanks to an ingenious modular system installed in the boot of your car, you can cook, eat, take a shower and sleep during your outdoor adventures."
The clever kit will work even if the car is parked on a slope thanks to the built in suspension system, allowing the bed to be levelled, better ensuring a good night's sleep. The cooking equipment extends from the boot and there's even a 'shower' - although critics say it is really more of an 'extendable tap'.
When folded away the Swiss Room Box is equipped with handles and wheels making it easy to transport - it can also be checked in on most airlines. Prices for the basic kit start at €1,799 (around £1,416). Top of the range models come with a sink, kitchen equipment and electrics for lights and charging, costing €5,810 (£4,573).
