Comedian travels the UK in caravan

British comedian Adrian Edmondson has been busy touring the length and breadth of the UK in his caravan, according to Caravan Times.

In order to weed out the best of British cuisine, the 'Bottom' star has travelled the nation in his custom-built contraption; which he parked up in the Fens, Lancashire, North Wales and Gloucestershire so far.

Edmondson's travels will be broadcast as part of ITV's new show, 'Ade in Britain'. It may well encourage other Britons to get out and enjoy the best Britain has to offer; perhaps hitching along a caravan or camping along the way.

The caravan was created by a British artisan, Richard Stark. ITV.com reported that he hand-crafted the caravan; using unique patterns, profiles and moulds. Its retro interior was created using products from John Lewis, Cath Kidston and Laura Ashley, the website reported.

One of the stops Edmondson made was at Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire Cheese Farm. The owner of the farm, Graham Kirkham, couldn't speak highly enough of the television star.

Giving the Lancashire Evening Post an insight into his meeting with Edmondson, Kirkham stated: "He's really good fun. It's a shame really because we could have spent all day chatting about food and things but his film crew kept rushing us along."
