Hatfield Water Park is a Residential and Day visit activity centre offering challenging water and land based challenging activities to all age groups.
In addition it has a campsite that is equipped with 39 electrical pitches and 10 non electrical along with it's own shower and toilet block with washing up and waste disposal facilities
The water park is based on old sand and gravel workings, but no evidence of that industry remains to spoil the scenery. A mixture of mature trees and shrubbery now forms a picturesque landscape, abundant with a wide variety of wildlife.
There is a large enclosed toddlers and children's playground.
The water park lake is used for canoeing, dinghy sailing, wind surfing and sub-aqua (casual use service currently suspended). Structured Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoe Union (BCU) courses are run at the centre and coaching is given by highly qualified staff.
There is a visitor centre incorporating residential accommodation. A National Curriculum resource pack is available. The Outdoor Activity Centre Guide page provides information for school and youth group visits.
