We are a family run site welcoming guests to come and relax in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.

Ideally situated just off the A65 on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Silloth House Campsite is located within 15 minutes walk of beautiful village of Austwick with its village pub, local shop and playing fields with tennis, bowls, football, basketball and a playground, you have everything to hand.

Reviews of Silloth House Campsite

This campsite is what camping is all about! Surrounded by traditional Yorkshire Dales farmland (drystone walling as far as the eye can see), the campsite is really an open field beside a stream. There is plenty of room to pitch and tent numbers are limited so it always felt empty. I stayed for a week with my two young children who swam and played in the stream at every opportunity. It was fantastic to drift off to sleep with the sound of the stream the only noise audible.

The shower and toilet facilities are some of the best I have encountered at UK campsites and they are kept in an extremely clean state! The owners, Helen and Jon, are very helpful and friendly.

Without doubt one of the best campsites I have stayed at!!!
