High Moor Farm Park in North Yorkshire

Dreadfully rude, pre booked the site as our 12 year old daughter had a canoe slalom competition in the area. Arrived Friday pm to be told as we had kayaks on the roof we couldn't stay and should have told them at the time of booking we had canoes, however nowhere on their website, ie campsites or camping and caravaning club did it state this restriction. We were promptly and rudely asked to leave, no advice or help was given as to where we might stay for the evening. We were turned away in the cold wet evening with 2 young kids and nowhere to stay, but grandmother local had no idea of another campsite.
