The Sytche Caravan and Camping site is situated a 10 minute walk from the historic town of Much Wenlock, known as the birthplace of the modern Olympic movement.
The site is on the limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge in the Shropshire Hills AONB. It has fantastic countryside views in each direction and is an ideal base for walks and cycling. A public footpath runs through the lower end of the site and takes you in three different directions - town, Homer or to Wenlock Edge where you can walk for miles in woodland.
There are 40 pitches spread out over terraces, around 30 have hook-ups (10 or 16amp). There is a washing up area, shower and toilet facilities and a chemical waste disposal area. Our disabled toilet/shower has a 19" high toilet bowl and a shower a wheelchair can easily enter.
We welcome well behaved dogs, but we ask that they are kept on a lead on the site and not walked around the campsite, as some people aren't as keen on dogs. Please exercise them off the site - lots of footpaths just through the kissing gate. And if there is a doggy accident, obviously please pick it up - stepping doggy doo into your caravan is not a positive experience.
Our arrival times are between 2pm and 7.30pm or dusk, but speak to us if you need to come outside of those times.
We ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm.
Office hours are 9am to 8pm.
We now have a WiFi provider. www.caravanconnect.co.uk
