Astbury Falls in Shropshire

The site was clean and very quiet, just what we wanted, as were our caravan neighbours. The site owner was very helpful, even helping us put our tent up, and he giving us tips and advise as 1st time campers. A real hidden gem will definitely return.

A great place, my friend and I were made very welcome by the owner, he really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Looking forward to going again later in the year. Its quiet and very comfortable. 5 star.

A perfectly beautiful site: small, picturesque and very peaceful. Facilities are very clean and the shower is great. Friendly and helpful owner. A fantastic place to relax. The location is good for exploring the area by car but there isn't much (ie. pub, shop) within an easy strolling distance, however the tranquility of the site balances this out. Our neighbours had a dog they didn't seem to clean up after, perhaps the owner doesn't stress this very much to dog owners.

Gorgeous little site: pretty, quiet, small, secluded, spotless facilities, very hot shower & charming hosts. What more do you need .... we will definitely be returning, friends in tow!

After just returning from a third stay at this site for 14 nights we have had the most wonderful holiday.The already excellent shower which is always hot & unmetered has now been installed in a beach hut with towel rail,mirror,hooks & stools. We have found this to be a perfect & quiet location with plenty to see & do around shropshire.Again the owner was very friendly & helpful.We will return again next year & at £7.00pppn i find it extremely cheap. Full credit to the owner. Well done.

There seems to be two types of camp site, there's the sort that want to run a business and think "so how do we deal with these annoying campers then?", and then there's the other that thinks "what would make this place as nice as possible for everyone?" - this is definitely the later of these two. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and has put a lot of love in to the small site. He offered us a slate for a BBQ, and allows vehicles to drive onto the lovely grass to unload. The facilities were way above expectations, particularly the unmetered shower (great temperature, very clean). The site only had four tents pitched, and when a bunch of young lads turned up and pitched uncomfortably close to our tent (despite loads free land being available all around us), the owner marched straight over and gave them a warning about noise and disturbances, amazing! £7 per night per adult was our price, I'd have paid more! Definitely going back.

Well we did return in September & had the best weather. With the addition of a new shower the site has everything you need. The shower is the best & the hottest we have had at any camp site & has a removable head for a through clean. The site owner is very nice guy & was more than helpful with any questions we had including a vast knowledge of the local area. The site is small & you don’t have a brick shower block with heating. The site is very unique & we love it. It is a very quiet place to stay with plenty of walks. We will be using this site for future holidays.

I was looking for a quiet & peacefull short break & found this site which sounded perfect.Booked a 3 day stay & had the most wonderful time.The site is very clean & sercure with the sound of the waterfall & the owner is very pleasent. Bridgenorth is only a 30 min walk away. Will we be returning? Oh yes
