Reviews of Ashgrove

I stayed here twenty years ago and have such happy memories of a truly tranquil place. In my day the facilities were nothing more than a farmer's outbuilding but I'm sure they have changed since then. What I do remember, which can't have changed is the lovely warm local pub and Offa's Dyke walk on the doorstep. Go on, drop out for a weekend and re-learn what life should be like!

Just come home from 3 very relaxing days at Clun Valley Campsite. It is a very friendly place to stay and get away from it all. The owners are friendly and welcoming and also very trusting. The village pub, The Crown does great food and offers a friendly welcome. Everyone in the village is friendly! We will definately return.
