Mortimers Cross Mill camping ground is a site situated next to an 18th Century water mill which is partly in working order. This site is located in Lucton Leominster, Herefordshire along the river Lugg. It is set on attractive gardens, a stone weir and the Aymestrey quarry. This site is ideal for woodland walks and it offers special day as well as evening guided tours.
It has a heated swimming pool and a museum of The Battle of Mortimers Cross where you can learn some part of the British history. The carefully maintained river is a catch and release one and it is well stocked with big trout. Angling and dogs are not allowed on this site. You will need to bring your own camping gear and a loo since the site does not have toilets. However, with prior arrangement you can get a portable festival type loo at the site.
