Three Cliffs Bay Caravan & Camping Site in Swansea

In all our years of camping we have never had such an unpleasant experience and would not recommend this as a family friendly site.
We found the owners rude and unfriendly (although the younger members of staff in the shop were polite and helpful). We found the owner very intolerant of children, particularly teenagers and there was an incident between the male owner, David, and our fifteen year old daughter that was so unpleasant that it was necessary to involve the police. Needless to say we will never be going back the site again.
Toilets and showers were clean but didn’t always have toilet paper. Showers were free but only lasted 10 seconds before you had to press them again and weren’t always hot. There was only one hairdryer point. The ‘short walk’ to the beach takes twenty minutes but is lovely when you get there.
If you want a sea view in a tent you need to be prepared to pitch at a steep angle. We were happy with a flat pitch without a view.
Other costs - You have to use their ice-blocks and they cost 30p per block. 50p to charge items. Free Wi-Fi is only accessible in the shop or hired cottages.
