Stay in a spacious pre – erected bell tent or yurt. Sleep soundly on beds with real mattresses and duvets, cosy up in front of the wood burning stove with snuggly blankets, conjure up culinary delights in your sheltered kitchen area or barbeque and eat alfresco.

Here at Wye Glamping the emphasis is on relaxing and enjoying the simplicity of being close to nature in comfort and style. Take a stroll through the countryside, splash in the stream and read a book whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings.

We are situated in a quiet spot on the edge of a small village which has a pub, and a couple of small play parks, about 4 miles from Hay on Wye (known as the town of books and home to the famous literature festival) and 10 miles from Brecon, both picturesque market towns, perfect for a leisurely afternoon of boutique shopping!

Sitting on the very edge of the Brecon Beacon National Park, we are also well located for access to many activites including walking, pony trekking, canoeing and star gazing to name just a few.

Our yurt and bell tent both sit on wooden platforms and have their own separate camp, a 100yards or so apart. The yurt has a sundeck and enjoys stunning views of the Black Mountains, whilst the bell tent is in a magical wooded area, with a small river running alongside.

At each camp you’ll find a private kitchen hut fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay, a compost loo, picnic table, firepit and deckchairs.

Both the yurt and bell tent are furnished with a ‘proper’ king-size or double bed and 2 or 3 single futons. An extra bed or cot is available on request. Full bedding is provided for the double bed, just pillows for the others, all you need to do is pop in sleeping bags for the kids!

Reviews of Wye Glamping

Absolutely great stay, couldn't fault a thing except the weather! We stayed in the bell tent sheltered in the trees with stream bubbling past. Lovely wood stove kept us cosy at night and everything we needed was supplied. Lovely comfortable bed and futons. Just wish it could have been sunny to enjoy the hammock! Sure we will be back.

We were lucky enough to stay in the Bell Tent, tucked away in a private corner surrounded by trees and on one side a little stream, lush! It was just my boyfriend and I so perfect and peaceful. I love camping but this was just amazing. It makes it so much nicer to sleep in a big comfy bed, have a toilet and somewhere to cook. Id love to go back again soon.

Fantastic night spent in the beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable Yurt. So cosy and warm with the fire going. It rained the evening we were there, but it didn't affect our stay as the kitchen was fully equipped and only a few steps from the Yurt. We just turned up with food in our bags and the rest was there! Don't think I'll ever go back to camping again! A wonderful evening was spent relaxing in the extremely comfortable & beautiful Yurt. Hot shower and fully equipped bathroom a few meters away was an added bit of luxury in the morning. I highly recommend this Glamping site to groups, families & couples alike. Well equipped, clean, & spacious leaving you time to enjoy the outdoor life. We will be back for sure and will stay longer next time!

Amazing amazing yurt! Stayed with our two kids for the night and were blown away with the immaculate yurt with super comfortable king-size solid oak bed. Kitchen-hut really well equiped, and we spent a long, lazy day just snacking, drinking and looking out over the countryside. Really peaceful location. Don't think I can ever be bother to set up my own tent again with this level of ease and luxury! Night time was silent and relaxed: fire-pit, logs etc all provided and solar fairy lights created the perfect scene. Shower room spotless. Shower hot. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Hay-on-Wye close by and beautiful.
