This site is in Monmouthshire, not Powys. Very basic, just a tap and rubbish/recycling facility in the field. Toilets are in the public car park just round the corner, There are no showers. Its not suitable for caravans or motor homes, access is via narrow lanes and the field can get bogged down in the wet but the owner will give you a tow with the tractor if you get stuck! 3 places to eat and drink in the vicinity, the Abbey/Priory hotel, Treats snack bar (great for breakfast) and the Half Moon Inn. For unsophisiticated camping with stunning views and incredible peace and quiet, this place is for you! There's no mobile signal in the valley but there is a phone box in the village and pay phones at both pubs. Nearest shopping is in Abergavenny (approx 10 miles).
