Reviews of Trefalen Farm
Basic facilities compensated for by stunning location, sea view and proximity to glorious sandy, dog-friendly beaches.
Site owners Lawrence and Marcia are very friendly, helpful, informative and welcoming.
Costs: £15/night for motorhome and £1/night for dog. Owners and their neighbours were so pleasant it was a delight. Thank you.
Just amazing, we love this campsite. The best thing about it is its simplicity and beauty. We would hate for it to change any way. The location is beautiful, even when full it is never overbooked, so you all have space. It is a true camping place, no facilities just cold shower and toilets. Fresh spring water and washing up areas. The beaches are just down steps, the town of Pembroke 15 minutes away for supplies and what you need for basic supplies the farm sells.
The owners are just wonderful, really warm and welcoming.
One of the few rules on camp are for it to be quiet from 11pm. If you want to sit up late and make noise do not come to this site. Most of us like to sleep to the sound of the sea. If you want nature then come here but book for the summer months. We have been coming here for about 12 years and everytime we return its even better, no matter what the weather!!!
Brilliant site. Toilets and a tap. Beautiful part of the world so beautiful we held our wedding on this campsite. The owners were brilliant every step of the way. Nothing was to much trouble. We have been staying here for the last 4 years and have never had a problem. The carpark next door has additional toilets if caught short on the way up from the beach :) plus a small cove directly off the site. The broad haven South beach is metres away down the steps and the lily ponds on the door step too. Brilliant place and the best value for money we've ever found.
DO NOT CAMP HERE!! The farmer who owns this campsite is a vile, rude man. He patrols the field after 11 to ensure everyone is quiet (like being in school) and because my husband was 'laughing too loud' instead of asking him to keep the noise down he informed us he'd been listening to us and ordered us to leave. When we tried to apologise he was very abusive and called us names. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. There are no facilities here, just a field. The toilets nearby belong to the beach and are rarely cleaned. I wouldn't waste your money, go to one of the better campsites nearby as you are spoiled for choice.
A beautiful camp site right on the Pembrokeshire coastal path, next too Broadhaven Beach and close to Barafundle Bay about half an hours walk over the cliff top coastal path. The camp site has two fields all with views over the bay. Facilities are sparse, just one toilet block, fresh water taps and sinks all over the site, but what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in being one of the most beautiful sites in Wales. A true rustic camping heaven
