Caraway Meadows offers unique and exclusive wild camping pitches by the source of the Eastern Cleddau River. Camping is ideally located for stunning walks, horse riding and mountain-biking
This is a beautiful spot at the end of a 600 metre rough track, in a quiet location, with spectacular views and impressive night skies. A bridleway takes you straight out on to the Preseli Hills and surrounding area includes an Iron Age fort on nearby Foel Drygarn, ancient stone circles and craggy cairns. World-class Pembrokeshire beaches are just 20 minutes drive away.
The farm consists of 75 acres of permanent pasture and is in schemes to promote species-rich bio-diversity. Watch the birds, butterflies and bumblebees enjoy the abundant hay meadows in mid-summer. Meet our friendly Shetland sheep with their beautiful fleeces as well as our donkeys and Welsh Black cattle. We’d be more than happy to take on you a farm walk.
Amenities include compost toilets, hot showers, a washing up area, a communal fridge freezer and charging points for mobile phones. Campfires are permitted and we’ll supply you with an initial bundle of logs. Additional logs are available for purchase.
Revenue from the campsite funds our continuing protection of the site and the existing habitats.
