Reviews of Pen-y-Llyn

This was our fourth visit to Pen y Llyn. It would be hard to find a site that is more welcoming, relaxing or better laid out and maintained. The perfect spot to stay when visiting Anglesey. Handy for shops and supermarkets and only a short walk to a fabulous sandy, dog friendly beach.

Hi, thank you for the wonderful review, pleased you enjoy your stays with us and look forward to seeing you again, Regards Geoff & Catherine
We have stayed at this site a few times now and each time we go the lovely owners have made further improvements to an already excellent site. Each pitch has electric point ,tap and drain. There is a free WIFI link. All pitches are hard standing, they are well spaced out and have an open feel, there are some great views from all the pitches. Access to the site is easy as it is directly off a quiet road. There is a local bus every hour that will stop for you at the gate. There is a nice local beach within walking distance. There is a large shopping estate about 5 mins drive away, and just 10 mins. drive from Holyhead . The owners are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. There is short bursts of distant noise from the local Raf base, but that I find doesn't effect us, and is at times very interesting, we will certainly be re booking.
