Reviews of Blackthorn Farm

Has slight slopes in places but reasonable level with amazing views from most pitches. I can only comment on the Tent camping area where the toilets and showers were very clean, with two steps and well lite. The Disabled/family bathroom was brilliant with the good non slip ramp and lighting. It has a lovely large bath with a good hand rail, shower area, sink and toilet along with baby changing unit. You have to ask for door code from reception. The dish washing area next to toilets was clean and tidy and has power sockets and a fridge/freezer which I can't comment on as we didn't use. Restaurant/breakfast room is situated in the Hotel/B&B, opposite to the reception/shop. We didn't find the menu expensive and although the menu was slightly limited, the food was very tasty and we would highly recommend giving it a try and not just because it's good value for money. the views from the veranda is stunning. Especially when you decide not to cook when your camping, as we did!
