A small well maintained quiet retreat in the heart of Snowdonia. Close to the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, miles of sandy beaches, ideal for touring the Llyn peninsular, the castles at Criccieth, Harlech, Caernarfon, why not visit the slate caverns at Llechwedd or the slate museum at Llanberis, climb Snowdon, Wales highest mountain, or for the less energetic ride to the summit on the unique rack & pinion railway. Miles of unspoiled footpaths including parts of the new Wales coastal path, fishing couldn't be better with plenty of coarse fishing in the area including our own well stocked on site fishery or fish the local rivers with good runs of Sewin & Salmon, beach casting on any of the local beaches will produce Bass, Mackerel, Dog Fish.
For the more energetic adrenalin junkies the area is a mountain bike heaven with good runs at Coed Y Brenin and the new runs at Blaenau Ffestiniog "Anturstiniog". Or just relax and drink in the terrific scenery or dine in one of the many local hostelries providing exceptional food, what ever you decide the whole area has it's own special magic.
