North Wales seaside camping, caravan site and holiday cottage on the Llyn peninsula. Snowdonia and all other North Wales major attractions close by. The site adjoins a private beach which is safe for bathing and there is access for boat launching. There are 15 acres of valley grounds, 5 acres of which are sheltered, level pitchesThe toilet block has showers and shaving points, the site has water points, electric hook ups and chemical disposal points. Laundry and dishwashing facilities are available and a small site shop during the main holiday period.
There is also a holiday cottage/bungalow available for rent on site.

The surroundings are altogether delightful, with panoramic views and seascape, which lend themselves to a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation and is ideal for children. There is very good sea and river fishing available in the locality, also excellent mountain and coastal walks. The site is at the foot of the mountain (Gyrn Goch) 1,500ft., also near the Yr Eifl mountains which sweep majestically down to the sea. The hamlet of Gyrn Goch is on the A499 road and lies 10 miles south of Caernarfon and 9 miles north of Pwllheli. It is adjacent to the Llyn Peninsula and the whole of Snowdonia and in easy reach of all of North and Mid Wales.

Reviews of Aberafon Camp Site

A great location and quiet in September...easy access to surrounding Llyn Peninsula and Caernarfon....near to the beach which was pebbly and seaweed but stil great for walking on although not ideal for families wanting sandcastle making! The only downside was the shower block was a long way from the tent field by the beach.....there were toilets and washing up facilities in our field though. Thanks very much will return.
