Gwern Gof Isaf Farm in Conwy

Gwern G?f Isaf is beautifully situated on a hill-farm between Capel Curig and Llyn Ogwen, which is close to the base of the well-known peak of Tryfan. Set in the perfect position for wonderful walks and hikes around the mountains of Glyders and Carneddau.

This site is used often by families, groups and individuals and it provides:

washbasins with hot & cold water
toilets
hot showers
electric hook-ups
toilet facilities
tents, dormobiles & touring caravans taken

There are 2 bunk houses. One sleeps 16, and the other 6 people.

The bunk houses have been converted into traditional farm buildings. Mattresses and pillows are provided, but you are to please bring your own sleeping bag. Inside the bunk houses there is a kitchen and dining area with cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle.

There is secure storage for all your mountain bikes and canoes.

This is a perfect place fo any outdoor fanatic as there are many outdoor activities, climbing and abseiling is available on the campsite. The National Mountaineering Centre is only 3 miles away at Plas-y-Brenin. The site is on the long distance 'Sustrans' cycle route, the bunk house is ideal for the first night stop on the Cambrian Way long distance footpath.

Sir John Hunt stayed here while climbing on Tryfan in training for the hike up Everest.

Have been using Bunkhouses in Wales for 6 years . This was the worst by far. Very poor advert for the area.
