Annwn Valley Eco Holidays in Ceredigion

For a unique sustainable, "back to nature" holiday experience, why not come and stay in a comfortable, luxuriously furnished Mongolian yurt, nestled in the beautiful wooded Cych valley, West Wales.

Yurts originate from Mongolia and are traditionally lived in by nomadic tribes. They are strong, aesthetically beautiful constructions that feel both spacious and harmonious to be in. The structure consists of a hand-crafted oak frame which is steam bent to create the curved form of the roof, and shaped into a trellis for the walls. The frame is covered with a strong canvas and there is a clear circular portal in the middle of the roof, two windows, a wooden floor and door.

The internal cooking facilities comprise of a wood burning stove, a small kitchen area with a camping gas cooker and kitchen wear and utensils. Outside there is a fire pit for cooking, sitting around and contemplation.

All firewood and ecological washing products are supplied.

There is running water and a compost loo in the field, and a short walk to the house, there is access to a fridge freezer, hot showers and a toilet.

The camp is situated in a wooded valley surrounded by trees which house an abundance of birds and wildlife and a small river runs through the land. There are many local activities and attractions including a Chocolate Factory, Butterfly Farm, Wildlife centre, Oakwood Theme Park, Quad bikes, paint balling, hiking, cycling, costal walks, canoeing and horse riding.
