What better way of getting in touch with Mother Nature than being surrounded by her night and day. Spend your evenings sitting next to a glowing log fire, looking at an endless sky of stars ? there are literally thousands on a clear night ? and waking to the sound of lark song, with spectacular views of the Welsh countryside.
Larkhill is a family home and a smallholding of 20 acres in Carmarthenshire, west Wales. The yurts are located amongst four acres of woodland with meandering pathways, benches where you can while away the hours and a quartz stone circle. The tipis are on the edge of the woodland in their own landscaped terraced area surrounded by a wild flower meadow. A laburnum avenue, which is spectacular when it flowers in June, leads into a seven ringed labyrinth and quite central to the tipis and yurts is a well equipped log cabin which is available for everyone?s use.
The land ranges from peat bog and pastureland to woodland and has a large variety of wildlife. Over 60 bird species been seen here making it deal for bird watching.
Anybody who fancies a break from the norm, young or old, experienced tipi or yurt dwellers, or those who are just looking for a completely different experience, are very welcome.
This is a quiet location, well away from busy roads, so if you?re looking for a relaxed alternative holiday, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then you need look no further ? a tipi or yurt holiday in a beautiful location.
