Set in the glorious heart of rural South Wales with views of the mountains, Pen-Y-Fan Caravan and Leisure Park is in Blackwood, close to Blaenavon and just a convenient short drive from the M4. Offering tent and touring caravan pitches and an interesting selection of eco-friendly wooden pods for a true 'glamping' experience, Pen-y-Fan is an ideal base for exploring this gorgeous part of the country.

Caravan pitches are hard standing with electrical hook up and gas refills available on-site. Tent pitches are spacious and well maintained. Site amenities are to a high standard with separate disabled facilities, and there's an on-site shop for groceries, equipment and games.

The warden was very welcoming and friendly, and as she seemes to live on site was there when we rolled up gone 7pm. The pitch she allocated us was level and close to the facilities. The toilet and shower block was clean, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The only negative was that the site is used by a lot of workmen and as a result there was a lot of noise from people driving off to work between 6 and 7 am.
