Beautiful secluded camping fields by shallow sparkling river. Deep in the rugged heart of Exmoor. Four waymarked walks over 500 acre farm. Fantastic views.
Free hot showers, dishwashing and family shower rooms. Bring barbecues for Westermill meat, sausages and burgers from Shippon shop. Children's paradise. They adore playing in the river, fishing with nets, making dams - while you relax by your tent.
Watch lambs in fields, Aberdeen Angus cattle or the hens around the farm yard. Bring a horse. Cottages for hire.

Campsite and surrounds great, owners when about very friendly and helpful. we were in tent and have been few times..top shower block by field 3 needs to be looked at improving,,,,only luke warm water to wash up....only right hand shower is hot and toilets always out of paper...field one block however is meant to be 100 per better but never fancied the walk to benefit on that one.
Pray for dry weather otherwise fields get extremely waterlogged within hrs!!
Overall we loved the place for its seclusion,,,,mobile reception is bad so blissfully quiet.
Children love the river to play in for hrs.
Well worth visiting.

This review was back in 2012 and we have improved all the facilities. Now with the New wood chip biomass boiler heating the water for washing up and showering. New improvements coming for 2015
