Reviews of Butlins Touring Caravan Park

We've camped here a few times now. We all absolutely loved it each time. The warden is a lovely guy, very helpful and friendly. In fact all the campers are very friendly. We've met some good friends on our visits. Its about a 7 min walk through the park to get to the pavillion but we use our bikes so only takes a couple of minutes. On route to the pavillion there are shops, a pub and restaurant. If it rains, it gets muddy and things get dirty but thats what camping is all about. When we were there last it rained for 2 days. Those is tents got put up in butlins' accommodation for free until the water had drained. They couldn't have done more for you. We intend going back this Easter for a week and can't wait. Definitley the best camping experience!

im sorry to have to say but this is the worst pitch we have stayed on the drainage was terrible it was like stepping out into a mud pool every time we went out of our van our awning carpet had to be power washed on our return home. the kids enjoyed all facilities that butlins had to offer but the adults had we stayed another day would have gone into depression just could not keep our vans clean we were a party of three units and had booked these pitches in dec 2011 after reading the 2010 reviews, all i can say about those reviews are they cannot have had any rain.unhappy camper

Stayed there for a week last june. Parked Lakeside side. Warden polite and helpfull and the facilities were cleaned all day. Lots of toilets and washbasins. Only problem we had were the earwigs. They got into everything in the awning. Will take creapy crawley spray this year.Wish the train would pick up by campsite as it do pass near by.
Yes we are going back. Loved everything about Butlins.

Great :). So small and well spaced out, showers and toilets are ok just a wooden hut really but still good and clean. Good drainage, The site is near the staff quarters but there quiet. About 10 minutes walk to the skyline but is well lit. The campsite is behind the main carpark. But its worth the vist, the park is top class.
