Weston Dairy Campsite is situated in Worth Matravers (near Swanage), in the Isle of Purbeck, on the magnificent Jurassic Coast. The campsite extends to 13 acres of level ground and is adjacent to cow and calf grazing fields. Facilities include loos, showers and a gazebo where Marion sells delicious bacon rolls in the morning. Hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and Purbeck ice cream are available throughout the day and locally sourced burgers and salad in the evening.

Weston Farm is a 750 acre working mixed farm and is located to the west of the village and runs down to the sea (Winspit, as pictured) and spectacular cliffs.

There is an extensive network of footpaths linking to the South West Coastal Path, a World Heritage Site. Bicycles can be hired locally. The world renowned Square and Compass pub is in the village, specialising in locally brewed ales and ciders,

The cleanliness of the toilets is the only positive thing about this site.

The site was fairly full when we arrived on Friday but was heaving by Saturday, did not bother showering as the queues were so bad. A large group near us decided it was a great idea to play really loud music from 1.30am till gone 3 on Friday night, which was nice! Saturday was also really noisy with loud music from several groups all evening and into the night. The pièce de résistance had to be the fireworks at 4.20 on Sunday morning though, just perfect!

If you want a lovely peaceful weekend this aint the the place to have it!

I deeply regret that people have had their time ruined by a few selfish individuals. On the Friday night I patrolled the site at midnight and asked anyone playing music to turn it off. I then received a text (but only at 510am the following morning when my phone picked up a signal) saying that there was loud music on site, which must have started after my patrol. I texted the people back in the morning and asked them to meet with me so that we could try and identify the source of the noise and try and avoid a repeat scenario. I purposely patrolled the site nearly an hour later on the Saturday night and had to ask a few groups to be quiet. I can not possibly prevent some idiot letting off fireworks at 4.20 but they nearly got caught as I was cleaning the loos at just after 5am!! This particular weekend coincides with the local pub's Fayre and does unfortunately lead to these sort of issues. Anyone I am able to speak to that may be concerned about noise etc I try and encourage to come and stay on an alternative weekend. It really can be a lovely peaceful place!!
Great site we have been before but noisy - a hippyish band set up next to us on sat while we were out. Played bongo drums when they got back until 4 in the morning. There was no one to complain to. None of us got any sleep.

Great stay, 2nd year we have been to this campsite, the kids love the open space and the countryside is beautiful.

This campsite has everything we want for a fantastic break.........friendly helpful staff..........enough staff for everyone on site to feel you are not imposing.......and the facilities are clean,and ample of them for numbers on site. Handy walk down to the square and compass(probably the best pub in the world), through fields which is ideal for the stagger home......follow path the other way and takes you down (scramble) to a lovely cove which appears to be for only those in the know.........My only negative about this site is that it isn't open all season....... as otherwise we would be there more often

Fantastic three day stay at Weston with my three boys they loved it simple camping with the addition of showers, loo's and some fantastic burgers at the Duck hut
