Jim's Camping in Dorset

Being able to find a quiet spot at this time of year is heaven! The facilities are basic but handy, and despite the shower being in the old shed - it was the best camping shower ive had! Lovely temperature, no coins, no timer, no yoga positions trying to get dressed without standing on anything the previous visitor had left. Bought a plant for my mum, and was left another before leaving with a thank you from jim! Absolutely lovely

Great basic propper camping, we loved it and felt safe for children to play. If you like well done up toilets and showers then not for you, as these are like old sheds but had the well equipped with what one needs. Showers are hot and big in a wooden hut type building. We also liked the fact that you don't need to book just turn up as they come round and check who's staying they grow flowers that you can buy no busy traffic coming in and out so very safe for children to wonder around. We will visit again.

Lovely location surrounded by beautiful countryside. Jim and Gill grown all sorts of flowers and vegetables at the site, which we were able to buy at a very reasonable price. The freshly picked carrots and broad beans were the stars of the show at our campfire-cooked meal! Great campsite for children. Well located for exploring Lulworth Cove and other Dorset gems. Thanks for a wonderful few days!

Basic camp site very peaceful and good value for money

This was our 2nd visit. it may be basic, but it's great for the dogs and very peaceful. Will be returning on our next camping trip.

Quiet, basic but wonderful wild & free camping - the kids loved it. Wood & saw provided for campfire, goose catching & raspberry picking - Fantastic peaceful place - will be back again
