Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Dorset

This is the third year a group of us with young children have spent a week at Freshwater. It was a massive washout this year due to weather but in terms of entertainment for the children, it's great. We love the swimming pools (there are two new indoor pools this year which was great considering all the rain, but they did get busy during middle of day due to being open to public too). The outside pools are good in nice weather. The children love the donkey rides - £1.00, a trip on a train round the site for £1.00 each is great too, we love the donkey derby where children get to race on donkeys, and the children love Flopper, the gigantic rabbit in the club at night. Captain Blood on a Friday night is great too where poor old Captain Blood is chased around the campsite by a hoard of screaming campers pelting him with water balloons and shooting him with water pistols - great fun. The beach is close at hand on the site, the site has its own stretch of stream and it's own mini mountain! The coastal path runs right through it. The shower block and toilets in the A section of the campsite are kept immaculate and there is a very well stocked shop. Great for families and safe for children to ride their bikes if you are on the outside edge pitches of the site.

Fantastic site on road between Weymouth and Bridport....lots of activities and ULTRA CLEAN washrooms....a must for any family. Entertainment great for families and easy access to beach...
