The Corfe Castle Site sits at the foot of the Purbeck Hills. The site is a ¾ mile walk from Corfe Castle which is a thousand-year-old Royal castle shaped by warfare. A steam railway runs to Swanage from Corfe Castle and is only 0.75mile from the site. As well as being near popular seaside towns of Poole, Bournemouth and Weymouth it is also in close proximity to some beautiful beaches such Lulworth Cove, Swanage and Studland. Nearby attractions include Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre and the Tank Museum at Bovington.
