Reviews of Brig's Farm

Great back to basics campsite. Nothing beats having a cup of tea whilst looking at the sea when you wake up in the morning. Love the idea of the compost toilets even if our children didn't. Great to be able to have fires, just make sure you have an axe to make some kindling to get started. Would recommend to any families who want to get back to nature and don't want a cheesey holiday camp. Showers were hot and powerful. Washing up facilities just what you need.

We arrived after a 2 hour drive and were told that there was no running water. So, no showers and no water for brushing teeth etc.

By the following day, still no running water and no sign of the owner.

If you are a family and have planned a long holiday here, I would feel this would be very unacceptable.

As it was, I am a seasoned camper and I had just hoped, after doing my research on the internet, that the campsite was basic, as promised, with good views (yes) AND running water!!

Left here feeling a bit grimy and really disappointed.

Just spent the weekend here in our ancient campervan. Simple is definitely best! The loos are good (I didn't bother showering). Friendly and helpful people. Fab walks down to Lyme Regis via Charmouth. Lots of others but take an OS map.

A great simple site, nothing fancy just camping, with great views and freedom.
will definitely be going back and hopefully will make it for Pizza night.

Mew is really lovely and helpful, can only say thanks for sharing a little piece of heaven

We just spent a very relaxing weekend here, with lovely sea views and a good mix of friendly campers.

Kids and dogs welcome - hooray!

Mew's Pizza night on Friday evening was unsurpassed, with fantastic home made pizzas in an outdoor clay pizza oven. Mmmm.... I wish i had room for seconds!

Loved the hot showers and the compost loo with a view of the sea, just my sort of thing. Not one for municipal campsites really.

Just a couple of miles from the fossils at charmouth, one of our kids favorite beaches, and close to Lyme Regis and Axminster too.

Will definitely be coming back for more .
