Bredy Farm Orchard in Dorset

Here at Bredy Farm we offer two distinct camping experiences. The first is our Orchard campsite which is open for the best part of the year. The second is the It!Whistle venue, which is where we host our weekend long music events. This year’s events include: Camping Be Cider Seaside II (May 27th-29th Bank Holiday weekend), SouthCider (July 1st-3rd) and Camping Be Cider Seaside III (August 26th-28th Bank Holiday weekend).

The farm is also home to the Talbot Harris Cider Co., with its own cider shed that is open to the public everyday 10am-7pm. We also have 2 small vineyards and are very close to finishing our own micro brewery! (completion date should be Mid May).

The Orchard campsite

The Orchard campsite is situated in a picturesque apple orchard alongside the tranquil River Bride, offering a peaceful location to unwind and soak up the beautiful surroundings.

We aim to provide a stunning retreat for you to be left undisturbed. Facilities include running water, an area to wash pots and pans, two proper toilets and two modern, high quality coin operated showers. Please note that the toilet and showers are a 45 second walk over the road in amongst the farm buildings.

Due to the slightly boozy note of Bredy farm, the inherent risk of camping beside a river and being in close proximity to a working farm we think this site is unsuitable for children, but enquiries will be considered.

The It!Whistle venue

The It!Whistle venue is where we host our events. The camping site boasts breath-taking views of the Bride valley and is situated on the rim of a natural amphitheatre which houses the stage, bar, food van, coffee van and everything else you need for a banging party. We provide access to mains water and composting toilets on site. However, all campers also have access to two modern coin operated showers and 2 real toilets located on the farm, which is merely a 2 minute stroll away.

The events we hold at the farm are great fun and have proven to be a huge success with people who enjoy camping in a beautiful part of the world, watching brilliant live acts, gorging on delicious food fresh from the farm and most importantly spending the entire weekend with a drink in there hand. If you think you fit the bill, then we’ll see you at the bar!
