Reviews of Leeford Farm Riverside Camping

We are not really fans of campsites but this place was fabulous. It had facilities whilst still keeping a rustic feel which is great. Ray was great and came and did his rounds regularly. Will definitely return again

we stayed hear 2years ago and it was very good but this time we found it to be very over crowded and very noisy we were camped near the entrance and there were some very undesirable people with loads of dogs chained up that barked constantly so the owners would then shout and swear at them with no regard for to any one else or children , when we said to the camp site owner about it he just laughs and said it was friends of his. we left and found a much better site about a mile up the road .

Lovely natural site in the Brendon valley. When we were there there was lots of room, unlike others in the valley which are better publicised but which are actually no better than Leeford. It was wonderfully peaceful at night with just the sound of the river to lull us to sleep. The toilet and shower block is clean and there is lots of room in the shower cubicles. Ray came around each evening for a chat and to collect our £12. Excellent pubs nearby.

We come to Leeford Farm every August and always enjoy ourselves even if the weather is not that good, we have been staying there for about 5 years now. Although basic it is very idealic and peaceful, the campsite does not tend to get over crowded and there's alway plenty of space for everyone.Ray Floyd the owner is very friendly and accomadating. We intend to carry on staying at Leeford Farm Riverside Camping for as long as we can and would strongly recommend it....see you in August Ray.
