Small organic farm near to lovely small port of Topsham.
We set up our camp site in 2001 and look forward to welcoming you to our organic farm set on the edge of the lovely small port of Topsham. The camping area is level and has five electric hook ups. Whilst we do have toilets and a chemical disposal point please note that we do not have hot water or showers.
What to see in the area:
We highly recommend a visit to Topsham which is only a ten minute walk from our site.
It has ten pubs, 5 restaurants, four tea rooms, and plenty of antique and general interest shops.
Throughout the summer there is a lovely solar heated outdoor swimming pool, and there are also tennis courts, a bowling green, bird hide, and recreational area with swings and climbing frames. A small ferry operates daily from Topsham in the summer, which crosses the River Exe to a variety of pleasant walks or cycleways which lead to the prettily situated Turf Locks pub.
Alternatively the Cathedral town of Exeter is about four miles away and can be reached easily by bicycle, bus , train or car.
Our circular nature trail is a good way to see the farm. The trail is about half a mile long and passes through fields of sheep or cattle down to the River Clyst. 2007 rates are £7.50/night/pitch inclusive of electric hook up Please note that we welcome well behaved dogs (or cats) but please keep them under control and clean up after them. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead if you walk the farm trail and come across any livestock.
