The lovely harbour town is a short drive away, or you can take the scenic route by walking the South West Coast Path and skirting around the headline past Dartmouth Castle. If you fancy hitting the beach, Blackpool Sands is within walking distance of the site or you can hop in the car to Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands. Other local must-sees include the pretty village of Kingswear, from which you can join the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway. Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Leisure Park and Babbacombe Model Village offer great days out, too. Back at base you’ll find a large camping field with a family shower room and your own furnished glamping accommodation - the perfect place to rest and unwind after a hard day at the beach.
