Blagdon Farm in Devon

Blagdon Farm is a working small-holding (or small farm) that occupies a secluded position on the edge of a valley - so secluded that few local people are aware that we have a lake as it can't be seen from any road or lane! We're a haven for wildlife, and we're working with the Devon Wildlife Trust to make it even more so and increasing bio-diversity. When you're here you'll see our farm animals - some of which are rare traditional breeds native to Devon - such as the Whiteface Dartmoor Sheep and the Devon Black Pigs. You'll also see the wildlife - Barn and Tawney Owls, deer, badgers, foxes (not the best of friends with our geese, ducks and chickens), various birds of prey and a whole assortment of smaller birds such as Woodpeckers and Kingfishers.
