Reviews of Acorn Farm Touring Park

Last week we visited Acorn Farm for the first time and were welcomed by stunning scenery, a spotlessly presented site and of course, Maz and Alan’s warm hospitality. The site has views over the Torridge valley and is comprised of a mixture of tent and touring pitches. We had our pick of a large expanse of lawn area of the site which catches the evening sun quite nicely. The toilet, shower and washing facilities were located in a block not far at all from our pitch and were very well-provisioned and well-kept, not to mention recently refurbished. There is a pub just by the entrance to the site (one of three in the beautiful village of Dolton) and a well-stocked general store is also located very nearby. Alan and Maz were extremely friendly and helpful when required. That area of Devon is one of the more hidden corners of The West Country and provides everything for the outdoor enthusiast be it cycling, walking, watersports and motorcylcing to name a few. We had a fantastic weekend and we look forward to returning to Acorn Farm next month!
