Tristram Camp site is a very popular quiet family site situated right on the cliff edge over looking the fabulous award winning surfing beach of Polzeath on the north Cornish coast. We have two modern toilet & shower blocks, each with a laundry room with all usual facilities. We also operate surf hire outlets with one adjoining the site, one situated on the beach itself and also from Ann's Cottage Surf Shop in the village. Although we are strictly a family only site, we are a busy site in high season, so bookings are essential in this period.

For those of you who prefer to be set back a little way from the beach and village life, we also have Southwinds Campsite situated approx 1 mile outside the village. The large spacious site has wonderful far reaching views of the Bay and enjoys all the same modern facilities that people enjoy at Tristram. We are proud to have the two best positions for camping in the area, with many families returning year after year, some of our regulars have been coming back for nearly 35 years!

Polzeath holds a magical presence which draws people back year after year. With stunning coastal walks and a whole range of water sports in the area there is something for everyone.
Polzeath boasts one of the largest surf shops in the Uk with Ann's Cottage surf shop and have a comprehensively stocked Spar shop which caters for all campers needs. We also have some of the best Restaurants in the area with the Cafe India ( 01208 862333) situated right on our door step! Bookings for here are definitely advisable.

Padstow and the delights of the nationally famous chef Rick Stein are only a short hop on the ferry away and Wadebridge has some of the best independent shops in Cornwall. Rock which is the place for young royals and celebrities is only 3 miles down the road and offers some great water sports on the estuary. Just up the coast we have Port Issac, otherwise known as 'Port Wenn' in the popular ITV series 'Doc Martin'

Further a field, Cornwall offers so many places to see with the award winning Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan just 30 minutes away. Further down the coast we have the surfing mecca of Cornwall, Newquay, whilst Truro is a charming cathedral city 40 minutes drive away. There are just too many other attractions to list, please phone the Cornwall Tourist Board
