Imagine waking up under the canopy of an Oak forest with a fire area sizzling your breakfast sausages and fresh coffee on the boil.
Camping at Fox Wood is a wonderful experience run as a small family focused West Sussex campsite.
Fox Wood can be found down a quiet dead end lane tucked up against a 1300 acre forest in the South Downs National Park.
The site is located in a private 35 acre Oak woodland and has provided all the conveniences required for a fabulous camping break. There are toilets, hot showers, hot washing up facilities and drinking water taps.
This site is off-grid.
The water is pumped from an underground well and every tap on site is suitable for drinking water. There is no mains drainage on site, so the toilets are composting to help save the environment. The toilets are unique and have been designed to feel like a standard toilet and can be found in a purpose built modern block (5 girls & 3 boys).
Having a fire when camping is an amazing experience and wood can be purchased on site as every pitch has it's own fire pit. Please remember to look after the wildlife, so no burning of wild forest wood.
Finally...Please remember to leave no trace on site and remember to take all your rubbish home after your stay.
