Little Almners / Walnut Tree Caravan Site in Surrey

Where is this local pub, supposedly 100yds away? I didn\'t find anywhere to drink until Chertsey. Then I was accosted by beggars!
Highly recommended in every other way. :-)

First impressions this seemed like it would be a good site. This is not the case. The entrance to the office is reached by walking up pallets! We were on a pitch that the electric hook up didnt work although this wasnt a problem as we could just plug into the one next to us. You need to have an actual domestic plug connecter and electric is metered and you have a £1 meter - this isnt mentioned when booking.
The toilets/showers were disgusting. I dont think they get cleaned at all. There was only dirty hand soap and no toilet roll, also the lights didnt work.
The waste water wasnt easy to reach as it was right next to someones pitch who seemed to have some kind of stepto and son set up.
The site seemed mainly residential.
The staff were helpful though but as my daughter said it was the sunshine that made the site.
Do not book this site unless you do not want to use any facilities.

I stayed at this camp site and I thought it was very good the staff were very helpful the owner made contact with us even though he is a busy man. We had camp fires and sing songs with all the other campers, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and have rebooked for next year. It is a relativly new site and the owner did ask if there was anything not up to standard.

I would not recommend this site, it will certainly not be on our to visit again list. One could smell the toilets from some distance away the wall tiles and shower tray looked as though they had not been cleaned for months,no soap or hot water to the wash basins no toilet paper but the actual toilet bowls were clean. To dispose of grey and toilet waste you lift the manhole cover outside the toilets there was no tap to rinse out with apart from the "drinking water tap" the other end of the building
