Love2Yurt provides the perfect holiday destination for families, friends and couples who want to enjoy the beautiful countryside without compromising on the luxuries of life!

Our three handcrafted yurts are situated in carefully selected sites on a small working farm located on the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border. Here you can enjoy a tranquil setting overlooking the beautiful countryside, but still be within easy reach of the Cotswolds, home to many famous historic villages and towns.

Inside, our Vintage and Moroccan yurts are individually styled with luxurious soft furnishings, wood burning stoves, comfy beds and bedding, soft solar and lantern lighting and plenty of storage. We even provide refrigeration to chill your drinks on a hot summer’s day!

Our Lakeside event yurt can be adapted to comfortably cater for up to 10 people, ideal for larger families or groups of friends who want to experience the luxury of staying in a yurt rather than camping.

Outside you can sit back and relax in your own alfresco area, take in the sunrise, watch the night sky or enjoy a sumptuous BBQ of locally sourced produce bought from the Limes Farm
on-site shop and tearoom.

Reviews of Love2Yurt

We hired the whole site for a surprise birthday party in October. The weather was horrendous, however the site and the yurts could not of been more beautiful or perfect. The Lakeside yurt is enormous in size and has everything you could possibly need including electricity and really lovely furnishings for a large group to have a party. All of the yurts were also perfectly warm and dry throughout and trust me the weather was lashing it down onto them. However, when it wasn’t raining the site in which the yurts are situated is beautiful with lovely areas to wander, I can only imagine how lovely this would be in the summer, but it still works so well for winter bookings. The facilities were also top notch; exceptionally clean and really modern - It really is more of an emphasis on glamorous and comfortable camping than anything we’ve seen in the past.

The Moroccan yurt was perfect for sleeping as the furnishings are so warm and inviting, you just need to bring your own bedding which wasn’t a problem at all, as the actual beds were so comfortable and lovely to sleep with the fire going and candlelight.

The yurts are so well thought out with everyone you could need, from

We met John who owns the site a few times and he was so nice and made sure we had everything we need and that we were having fun, which is such a nice touch.

All in all a five star facility that really has so much to offer, we will definitely be booking again!

Just spent a weekend at the Yurt site at Farthinghoe.
With 8 adults and 5 children we took over the Vintage and Moroccan yurts. We were totally private and had a huge field in which to amuse the children with games. The Yurts are fully equipped and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay fun and relaxing. The only down side was the weather which could have been kinder but in true Brit style it didn't detract from our enjoyment of this new experience. It really is Glamorous Camping!!

We stayed at the Lakeside yurt as a group of 8. Absolutely no attention to detail was spared and with 4 adults and 4 children our weekend was spent relaxing and bbq-ing or playing games. All facilities were excellent and faultless and we cant wait to stay again and recommend you to all our friends. Its so good we found ourselves thinking of excuses to have weekends away. Showers, kitchen provisions, everything was fantastic.
Joel, Lucie, all the yurt team, thank you very much for a perfect stay. Good luck in the future with all your plans and we look forward to staying again very soon.

Superb stay in the lakeside yurt. We are a group consisting of two friends and four young children. The yurt was perfect - loads of space and everything was well thought out and presented, from the kitchen and shower facilities, children's games, information pack to the lovely twinkling lights. Would love to come again!

We stayed in the Moroccan Yurt which had brilliant facilities in a setting with beautiful views. We were a group of 6 friends who traveled out from London by train to Banbury station (an easy 50 minute journey with a 10 minute taxi) arriving to a delicious BBQ pack provided by the Love2Yurt team. In the morning we woke up to make bacon sandwiches with ingredients from the farm shop and then spent the day walking in the surrounding countryside. Then to the pub in the village for a great evening meal! The showers and kitchens were hotel standard - we were very impressed!
It was the perfect place for a weekend break from London.

We stayed in the lakeside yurt for a week and had the most fantastic holiday. Our three children, aged 6,10 and 12 loved the place and always found something to do in the beautiful surrounding. We all enjoyed the lovely arrangement of the yurt, the well equipped and comfartable kitchen and bathrooms, the barbecue and the choice of outdoor games. Generous sight, close to nature and many things to do. Lucie and Joel are marvellous. Thank you very much for everything!

We stayed in the Lakeside yurt for wonderfully relaxing hen weekend. Right from the start the team were really helpful and friendly and made everything so easy to organise! The yurt was beautiful and the facilities were excellent. We had everything we needed and felt really looked after. A massive thank you to the Love2Yurt team! I would highly recommend, a superb place to stay.

Having spent the last weekend in the Lakeside Yurt for my friend’s Hen Do, I think Love2Yurt (and Lucie and Joel) are amazing. From start to finish, they made everything a joy to plan and the attention to detail within this set-up is second to none. An amazing accommodation in a beautiful setting – I will definitely be returning!

Simply a better, more refined version of camping. Lovely site, lovely people, lovely location.

We spent a wonderful sunny bank holiday weekend in the comfortable and well laid-out vintage yurt. It’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone in to the facilities, the layout and the decoration. Felt very looked-after, with lots of great little details such as solar lighting, wind-up torch, an umbrella and wheelbarrows to make it easy to carry bags from car to yurt. Brilliant and very clean facilities on the site, including shower, kitchen area and toilets. Very scenic location, amongst rolling hills, a lake and close to a nice pub and tea room in Farthinghoe village. Loads of things to see and do nearby… recommend the Catanger llama trekking. Would definitely stay here again!
