Reviews of Kingsdown International Camping Centre

We have been staying at this site for the past 3 years since being intrdoued by a friend, and we love it. The children enjoy the freedom and the fact that it is located so close to the beach via a gated path.

With Walmer and Deal castle's within walking distance, there are good attractions within easy reach. Along with two really good pubs serving great local ales, and home cooked food.

And of course with two large group fire pits, and the ability to have raised fire's in front of your camp makes for great nights sitting around the fire talking.

A truely, five star camp site with great facilities that are cleaned regular. And the guys who run it are very friendly and welcoming too. A must!!

A group of 27 of us stayed at Kingsdown for the weekend. Included in this amount are 11 kids. Well what can I say!

It was just great, we found a lovely spot to camp right near the woods. The kids played on a rope swing that we put up and also played on their bikes.

The toilets were cleaned regulary and there was plenty of toilet roll. The showers were clean and warm. The campsite was busy, but by 10.30/11.00pm there was no noise ie music, etc. The setting was peaceful and you were right by the beach. There is a path from the camp site that leads you to this.

We would recommend that you stay here, we are already planning our next stay.

We stayed at kingsdown as part of a large group. Great facilites Toilet and shower block, places to plug phones, cafe and shop. Had fire pits to rent, so we were collecting wood by day and burning it by night. Also the most fabulous location with a beautiful view of the sea... was lovely watching the moon come up over the water in the evenings. nice walk down to the little tea shop... nothing like afternoon tea in the sunshine :)

Loved it, went in 2009 and 2010 and going back 2011 too!! Highly recommended :)
