Please note that photos are not always of the actual campsite

Here at Springhill Farm in East Sussex we have three small campsites, one is by the stream and the other two in our woodland. We discourage cars on the sites themselves (you can't actually get a car to the woodland site) so you'll need to transport your kit from the farmyard to your site in the wheelbarrows provided, both sites are a short 5 minutes walk down hill. We book each site out individually, you will have the site to yourself so you can make your own home for your stay.

Our facilities are deliberately limited, the stream site has a composting loo but the woodland has nothing but it is s shortish walk to the farmyard where we have a toilet and shower.

We provide logs (£5 a bag) and ask that you use the fire pits provided to limit the scarring of the ground.

We try to keep things quiet so we do not allow amplified music. You are welcome to play acoustic instruments until 11pm - but no drums or bongos please.

Adults £10 and children (3 to 16 years) £5 per night.

Reviews of Springhill Camping

Lovely camp site for real back to basics camping. Took my scouting-mad son for an overnight camp because he wanted to build a fire. We had the woodland site to ourselves - real peace and quiet, he made a great fire in the fire pit provided and we cooked our dinner over it sitting on the logs surrounding. It's a bit of a walk up to the loo, and the shower is basic but adequate, but we weren't here for the facilities. The owner was lovely and couldn't be more helpful, providing a hand cart to help transport the gear to the site and supplying cheap and ample logs for the fire. The yurt looked great from the outside - may try that another time. Made a lovely weekend for us, and we're both looking forward to coming back one day with dad/husband!
