Plum Hill Farm is a small, new campsite. This is a very peaceful and out of the way location It has lovely views of the South Downs and Pevensey levels. Pitches in 4 acre field edged by woods or next to the pond. We never over book so pitches are always private. Fires are allowed and wood is for sale. Great walking and cycling. Good pubs nearby. Close to Herstmonceux Castle and Science centre. The coast is 30 mins away, Brighton 40 mins. Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead in the site. We have a flushing loo and a cold water tap. Local produce for sale. Pitches must be booked in advance

Reviews of Plum Hill Farm

We have stayed at Plum Hill twice this year. Firstly with a group of friends and then a group friends with our children. What a fantastic place. The owners are warm and friendly and communication was great. The location is beautiful. Very peaceful. The toilet is very clean and greatly exceeded my expectations of what a composting toilet actually was. Loads of space to run around and we had a great time exploring the woods, building our camp fire and enjoying the wildlife. I lost count of all the little frogs the children found. We will definatly be back next year but will make sure we stay for longer. The children were in tears having to come home and the dog is utterly exhausted. Highly recommended! Thankyou :)

We had a wonderful time at Plum Hill Farm for two weeks! Stood by the lovely pond with four funny ducks as companions. Very friendly owners. We loved walking in the South Downs. Enough to see in the neighbourhood: Batemans, Charleston Farmhouse, Firle Place,We recommend this site. Thanks for a lovely time!

Highly recommend this beautiful farm....The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

We pitched our tent by the pond which was so picturesque, we loved the duckies running around and the horses in the field next to us.

Really gave us the feel of nature being on this wonderful farm. I will be returning within the next few weeks I expect if the weather is on my side- as I really enjoyed my weekend all thanks to Plum Hill Farm.

Great land, great owners, great prices and the owner was even kind enough to cut and bring down wood to our pitch for us, with a generous portion of wood for just five pound.

Really great site, loved every minute of its beauty.

Thanks for having us. X

Pretty location. Peaceful. We loved cooking on the open fire and the kids loved exploring the forest and foraging for kindling. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The supplied us with logs and homemade apple juice from their own orchard.

We cycled down from Croydon and arrived at a lovely peaceful campsite in its second week of operation. Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful hosts and a really nice vibe. Don\'t tell everyone about it.

Spent a perfect weekend here. Sunsets, pond setting, lovely views, open fires, wood for sale on site - if you want to get away from it all this is it.
