Castle View Caravan Site in East Sussex

I used to stay at this site in the late 80s early 90s when it was up to the standard for those days.
Going back there now was quite a shock. The fields are just the same, although there seems to be a lot of very run down Seasonals.

As a previous reviewer has said, the river pitches are permanently taken which stops others enjoying it.

The main surprise and shock was the Toilet block, it was the same equipment as Years ago but now so run down with toilet cistern's broken, bits of plumbing pipework lying around on the floor.
Wall tiles have fallen off the walls and just been left there. The toilet cubicles were in a discusting state and the showers had were heavy with black mildew.
You can tell there not cleaned that often or very well, just by the smell.
The washing-up area was equally as bad.
Someone was cutting the grass when we were having a look around and was then in the Office. Just going by the state and attire of this guy gave you a good impression of the thinking of the people running this site.
All this and they still want £22 per night....we didn't stay!
