Cairds Camping and Caravanning Club Site in East Sussex

Cairds Camping and Caravanning Site is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and usually ten tents, space permitting. The site is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with far reaching views over the Sussex countryside.
Our facilities include electric hookup, toilet and shower, waste tank disposal for both chemical and waste water.
We also have a Farm Shop selling our own produce (including free range eggs) and local produce.
The surrounding area provides a range of activities & attractions for visitors - walking cycling, sailing, canoeing & fishing at the Bewl Water Outdoor Centre. Golf courses at Dale Hill & Lamberhurst. Visit Battle Abbey, site of the Battle of Hastings, Bodiam, Hever & Leeds castles, Batemans, magnificent home of Rudyard Kipling or the world famous gardens at Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. Travel the East Sussex coastline from The Seven Sisters Country Park near Eastbourne to the ancient Cinque Ports of Rye & Winchelsea.
Locally there are plenty of pretty, tucked away villages with traditional country pubs to discover. The nearest are in Burwash. For a good range of shops the nearby village of Wadhurst is just 10 minutes drive while a little further is Tunbridge Wells (Pantiles & Roman Baths).
